For Libraries

Bibliographic Data
Michigan Publishing offers a bundle of MARC records of our digitalculturebooks tiltes for download, along with the corresponding OCLC control numbers, for use in your library catalog or in a mashup.

Since these records were not originally created at the University of Michigan, we cannot release them under Creative Commons CC0 as the Library did for locally created records. However, you may use this bundle of MARC records in your institution’s catalog or for personal purposes as long as you do not redistribute them in a shared bibliographic utility (such as WorldCat or LibraryThing).

Do you use a format other than MARC? Do you like to share?  We are also offering a free print copy of a digitalculturebooks title for sharing other metadata formats.  To participate, download our MARC records bundle, convert the data to another format you find useful, and share it back with us with the right to license under the same terms as above.  We will post yours on digitalculture.org, and you will be eligible to receive a print copy of your choice!
